Booth Camp’s Origin Story
I created Booth Camp because it’s what I wish I had when I was breaking into voiceover. Classes were valuable, but when it came time to actually step into the booth after booking a job, I felt underprepared. I was constantly questioning what I was “supposed” to be doing.
I wasn’t missing talent or passion: I was missing reps.
Booth Camp exists to give artists those reps before the pressure is on. The kind of practice that builds confidence, professionalism, and alignment. So when the job comes, you can spend your time enjoying it.
Your Booth Camp founder and ultimate creative hype-man.
Hi, I’m Gabby!
My passion for creating opportunities for artists began in a small rural town in Central Minnesota. Growing up as a queer, creative kid with limited access to representation transformed into my greatest love as an adult: creating accessible, welcoming spaces for anyone to develop their artistry.
As an actor (Netflix, Crunchyroll), audio engineer (Voice Trax West), songwriter, and model (Sephora), I’ve found just as much joy in giving back to the creative community as I have being part of it.
At Booth Camp, I won’t only be your engineer. I’ll also be your teammate, rooting you on as you work toward your goals.
We believe
Confidence is built through doing.
Through practice that mirrors real sessions. Through collaboration between actors, directors, and engineers training together the way the industry actually works.
In safe spaces for the people who often fall through the cracks.
Ethnically diverse. Neurodivergent. Queer. Or anyone who has ever felt unseen, underestimated, or boxed in. This is a space where labels fall away, where you’re free to create without judgement.
When the pressure lifts, play returns. And when play returns, the best work follows.
Booth Camp is designed for artistic growth and human healing. A supportive community that helps you rekindle your fire and rediscover what made you fall in love with voiceover in the first place.
Artists grow like athletes.
Through reps. Through intentional practice. Booth Camp is built as both a gym and a playground.
